My husband gave the lesson:
Dad: Rule number one is don’t put metal in the microwave.
Son: Because it’ll get too hot?
Dad: Well, yeah, and the way a microwave works…blah, blah, blah… o.k.?
Son: So, you could put it in but–
Dad: No. Just never put metal in the microwave.
Other Son: What about silver?
Dad: What? No. No silver–that would be metal.
Son: So…you could put–
Dad: NEVER PUT METAL IN THE MICROWAVE!
